Rubber Compound Development
Compound design and Development
Usually, there is no standard compound that can meet the requirements of different application environments. Material development is critical to product performance. Material advancement has always been the focus of GMORS Research and Development, and our laboratory is equipped with a range of testing capabilities managed by our team of R&D engineers.
Our approach to material development and compound design is customer driven, and our many years of experience help our customers gain a competitive advantage in their field of operation.
With many years of established relationships with leading raw material suppliers, we are in a position to customize material development to meet your specific requirements.
The three key considerations in rubber compound design are cost control, specification requirements and product manufacturing process. Optimization seeks to reduce cost or improve productivity, and this can be achieved through the proper use of additives. Additives include carbon black or silica fillers, plasticizers, vulcanizing agents, accelerators, protective agents (eg: antiozonants), processing aids and so on. The proper use of these additives will affect the performance and durability of the finished product.
Laboratory Analysis and Testing Capabilities
GMORS laboratory has passed ISO 17025 laboratory certification, and the test process and results are fully accredited. We will go beyond material development to produce compound designs that exceed our customers' expectations.
The laboratory provides services ranging from compound design and sample prototypes to extensive physical testing or chemical analysis to ensure that the materials we have developed can meet customer specifications. If necessary, we can conduct multiple batch tests and recommend specifications.
GMORS has a powerful database system. All test results will be included in the database system and archived to help R&D personnel improve materials and control quality.
